Bowman students are expected to follow three rules: Be Safe, Be Responsible, and Be Respectful.
In a safe, respectful classroom, everyone is able to focus on the important task of learning. Third graders are developing greater social awareness and emotional control through their interactions. They are also able to recognize the consequences of their choices. As a classroom community, we will encounter many opportunities to develop problem-solving, communication, and empathy skills as part of working and playing together. I use a positive approach that recognizes effort, cooperation, and taking responsibility for poor choices.
